The short version: the image cleaner runs in your browser. We do not receive, store, or inspect the files you select.
Files you clean
Supported images are read and rebuilt by code running in your browser. File bytes are not sent to AI MetaClean, an AI model, or a third-party processing API. Downloads are created locally from the cleaned bytes.
Website requests
Like any static website, our hosting provider may process ordinary request data needed to deliver the page, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timing, and security signals. This is separate from your selected image, which is not part of those requests.
Accounts, cookies, and analytics
AI MetaClean does not require an account and does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics is optional and is not loaded unless you choose “Allow analytics.” If you allow it, Google may use first-party identifiers and ordinary request data to measure page visits and site usage under Google's own privacy terms. Your selected files and their contents are never sent to Google Analytics. Your choice is stored locally in your browser.

Guides may link to independent specifications or support pages. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them.
Your choices
You can decline analytics and still use every cleaning feature. You can also clear this site's local storage in your browser to make the analytics choice again. Keep an untouched original, review the cleaning report, and independently inspect files that are especially sensitive.
